Different Cargo Body Lifting Type Of Tipper Truck

A tipper truck is a vehicle that unloads its own cargo by hydraulic or mechanical lifting, and is an essential transport vehicle for civil engineering, mining and construction operations. Usually tipper truck bucket has front hydraulic lifting and middle lifting, so what is the difference between these two lifting methods ? In this article, the different lifting methods of the tipper truck will be described.

1. Front Hydraulic Lifting System.

The front hydraulic lifting system is mounted between the cab and the cargo body to ensure maximum lifting capacity. Although the overall length of the tipper truck is longer, the stability of the lifting system is further improved and the tipper truck is less prone to roll over. The disadvantage is that it is more expensive to maintain and purchase. This type of lift is suitable for bucket lengths over 5.6 meters, all most of SINOTRUK HOWO 8x4 tipper truck adopt the front hydraulic lifting system.

2. Middle Hydraulic Lifting System.

The middle hydraulic lifting system is located underneath the cargo box, which takes up part of the chassis space, making the height of the whole vehicle higher and the centre of gravity higher. It is easy to roll over on the slanting road surface, and the levelness of the road surface is more demanding when unloading the goods. Due to the relatively simple structure, it is not suitable for heavy load. Advantage is low purchase cost and low maintenance cost. This type of lift is very common on some 6x4 tipper trucks.
